A safety scandal involving the multinational carmaker Stellantis affects more vehicles than previously communicated, according to an interview featured in Le Parisien on Thursday. Volkswagen Group has reported a 20% year-on-year drop in first quarter operating profit for 2024, as falling sales and increasing costs continued to bite.
