China reported a slower pace of growth in new energy vehicle (NEV) exports in June, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). A growing number of imported electric cars, many of them from China, are stuck at the ports of Europe as manufacturers and distributors struggle with a slowdown in sales. Tesla is to cut the price of some of its cars in an effort to combat declining sales and growing competition.
