A wildfire on the island of Evia in southern Greece rages on, with nearby communtiies evacuated and more than 200 firefighters on-site. A fire official has called it one of the most dangerous fires of the season so far. Albanian authorities enter a third week of fighting fires that have been raging through the country. The blazes were predominantly located in southern Albania but have made their way up to the country’s north. Soldiers and firefighters are attempting to extinguish a fire that erupted in Albania's south on Monday. The wildfire started as an isolated incident in the mountains, but within two hours, it posed a danger to residents in the villages of Frashtan, Gorica and Dropull.
