Red Lobsters ONLY apparently at this Red Lobster. A rare (1 in 30 million) orange lobster that was accidentally delivered to a North Carolina Red Lobster this week got the boot that saved its life. “When you get a whole aquarium that has lobsters in it, and they look like little rocks in it, and then you got one spec that’s just sticking out, it looks like a little gold nugget. When you picked him up, he looked like he was pretty much cooked after he had been cooked and put back in the tank,” said a management rep to Fox News Digital. The rare Lobster was transported toRipley’s Aquarium of the...

New York (AFP) - Fast food giant McDonald's vowed Monday to win back consumers with better value offerings after it reported a rare sales decline that the company partly attributed to an exodus of inflation-weary low-income consumers. All three of the chain's operating regions experienced comparable sales declines, a significant weakening next to the year-ago results when global comparable sales jumped nearly nine percent. For much of the recent period of rising consumer prices, McDonald's garnered strong sales gains from diners who "traded down" to the fast food giant from more expensive riva...

Paris Olympic organizers have acknowledged teething problems with athlete transport and food at the Olympic Village, which they say have now been resolved. Olympic Director Etienne Thobois told a news conference that reserve drivers and buses were now being used to ensure that the athletes were transported properly, adding that the system was now running at "100%." Several Olympians complained about long waits for transport to venues and cramped conditions in the buses. Many have also been unhappy with the quality and quantity of the food. Thobois said more eggs and a ton of additional meat ha...

Once upon a time in Germany: there was meat, a vegetable and potatoes - or another starchy side dish, but it's Germany, so usually potatoes. If you went out to eat, you would usually get some combination of the three like schnitzel, asparagus and roast potatoes or smoked pork, kale and boiled potatoes. But is this disappearing? One thing is certain: eating culture and eating out, which is becoming more and more expensive, is changing. Since a return to a 19% tax on restaurant meals - after it was briefly lowered to 7% due to the pandemic - almost half of adults are eating out less often, accor...

Fencer Matyas Szabo cannot understand the complaints from other German Olympians about poor food and transport difficulties at the Paris Games. "We don't normally have a cook or a shuttle service for the fencers. For me, these are luxury problems," the 32-year-old told reporters. "I really can't complain." On Saturday, the German hockey team slammed the quality and quantity of the food in the Olympic Village canteen. "The food is a disaster, to say the least," player Christopher Rühr told dpa. Table tennis ace Dimitrij Ovtcharov meanwhile has criticized the time-consuming journey to competitio...
