A fresh round of talks between Aer Lingus and the Irish Air Line Pilots' Association (IALPA) will kick off at 9.30am on Thursday to try to break the deadlock in an ongoing pay dispute. This comes as members of IALPA enter their second day of an indefinite work-to-rule action, which means they are refusing to work overtime. Most refugees who arrived in Germany thanks to Angela Merkel's "Open Door" policy have now found work, according to a recent study by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB).
