David Bowie archive to be made available to the public for the first time
A David Bowie archive encompassing more than 80,000 items is to be made available to the public for the very first time. The late pop icon - who died in 2016 at the age of 69 following a battle with liver cancer - will be immortalised through the creation of The David Bowie Centre for the Study of Performing Arts at V+A East Storehouse, in Stratford’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 2025.
