Led by 17 points from their WNBA star Satou Sabally, 16 each from her sister, Nyara Sabally, and Leonie Fiebich, plus 15 from Alexis Peterson, the Germans prevailed thanks to a strong start which saw them lead 25-11 after the first quarter and 46-25 at half-time.
