Elon Musk’s Ex, Grimes, Says He Sent Photo Of Her Having C-Section To Friends & Family

NEW YORK, NY - MAY 07: Grimes and Elon Musk attend

Business magnate Elon Musk‘s ex-girlfriend, Grimes, said that he sent a photo of her having a C-section to some of the couple’s friends and family, including her father and brothers.

Writer Walter Isaacson, who followed the Tesla CEO for about three years for the latter’s eponymous biography, remembers having a conversation with Grimes about the situation.

Grimes told Isaacson that Musk was clueless about why she was upset with him for sending the picture. Isaacson also wrote in the book that the couple secretly welcomed their third child, Techno Mechanicus. Before the boy’s birth, the timeline of which remains unknown, the pair had two other children together: 1-year-old daughter Exa Dark Sideræl and 3-year-old son, X Æ A-12.

The pair now co-parent their children, but a tweet posted by Grimes last week indicates that all is not well in their co-parenting relationship. Grimes claimed she was not being allowed to see her son.

Responding to Isaacson’s tweet in which he had shared a photo of Musk’s twins, Strider and Azure, with his ex-wife, Shivon Zilis, Grimes said, “Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer.”

However, Grimes later deleted this tweet and later posted a tweet to “de-escalate the narrative” that something was wrong between her and Zilia.

“I spoke with Shivon at length finally, which was long overdue. This wasn’t her fault, plz don’t be angry at her! We respect each other a lot and we’re excited to become friends and have the kids grow up together,” Grimes wrote.

She added, “I truly apologize for responding to Walter like that. As u can imagine, that was a very gut level reaction to a thing that has been very hard for me. Communication about the twins wasn’t handled super well in the past, but I now totally understand what happened and totally forgive the situation.”

It is, however, unclear as to what miscommunication she was referring to.
