The Cavinder Twins have been a part of the Under Armour family since 2022 through an NIL deal. Now that partnership will last for another three years through a new footwear and apparel endorsement deal, according to Nick DePaulaof Boardroom.

Under Armour confirmed the news through a post on social media where they welcomed Haley Cavinder and Hanna Cavinder to the “sqUAd.” As part of the partnership, the players will be featured across Under Armour content campaigns and provide input on future products.

“Under Armour is giving us a platform to continue on our journey of inspiring the next generation,” the twins shared in the social media post. “Whether participating in the latest campaigns, testing out their newest gear or connecting with other athletes in the Under Armour community, this is a dream partnership with a chance to push our limits and inspire others to do the same.”

The Cavinder Twins return to college, NIL space

The Cavinder Twins forever changed fans’ understanding of NIL and the power of building a brand as a college athlete.

When NIL launched on July 1, 2021, the Cavinder Twins announced three major brand deals – including one with Boost Mobile in Times Square – to their millions of followers on social media.

They would become the face of the NIL Era with countless partnerships and major media attention. The twins defined what it means to control the NIL market.

After a successful run at Fresno State, the twins transferred to Miami for the 2022-2023 season. The twins spent one year in Coral Gables before retiring and focusing on their influencer brand. However, Haley decided to return to basketball – announcing in October 2023 that she was transferring to TCU for the 2024-2025 season. She would later pivot and return to Miami after Hanna revealed she was returning for a final season of college basketball in Coral Gables.

This is the twins’ second major endorsement deal since returning to the college game.

In May, the Cavinder Twins announced a new partnership with Slate Milk. They are investing in the protein drink while also signing endorsement deals to become ambassadors for the brand.

The Cavinder Twins are repped by Everett Sports Marketing.

The Cavinder Twins excited to return to basketball

The twins – who have the third and fourth highest On3 NIL Valuation in women’s basketballtalked about their return to college basketball with Talia Goodman at the On3 Elite Series.

“I’m in a way better headspace, and I’m not going to let the outside noise affect my decisions,” Hanna told Goodman. “Ultimately, being on the basketball court with Haley makes my life way happier. So, if that’s what I want to do, then I’m going to do it.”

Many people speculated that the twins’ return was related to NIL, but the twins shut down that thought.

“I think that’s just funny,” Haley said. “A lot of people say that. For a lot of people that don’t know a lot about NIL, it’s very easy to say ‘NIL is why they’re coming back.’”

Hanna said she was “doing more than fine without NIL.”

“That was not the biggest motive,” Hanna said. “My biggest motivation was being able to go play on the court with my twin.”
