The Cailtin Clark effect kept going when the Indiana Fever visited the Las Vegas Aces Tuesday night.

Following a game where Clark went head-to-head with WNBA legend Diana Taurasi that was the most-watched game in over two decades, this one set another record. The Aces and Fever played in front of 20,366 fans Tuesday, which was the largest crowd in T-Mobile Arena history.

It was also the largest crowd for a WNBA game since 199.9. You can see the immense feat below.

The Fever (8-13) fell to the Aces (11-6) 88-69, pulling away in the fourth quarter. Clark finished the game with 13 points, six rebounds and 11 assists, putting up another double-double.

Kelsey Mitchell’s effort for the Fever wasn’t enough against the Aces either, putting up 23 points, four rebounds and one assist.

Aliyah Boston had 18 points, 11 rebounds and two assists.

On the flip side of things, the Fever had no answer for Aces star Kelsey Plum, who finished with 34 points, six rebounds and five assists. A’ja Wilson added 28 points, nine rebounds and one assist.

Fever, Aces set new WNBA attendance record

The Fever, with the help of Clark of course, can practically set records wherever they go. Indiana’s game against Phoenix was a shade under two million viewers, for ESPN, to see Clark go against a future Hall of Famer in Taurasi.

As the calendar flips to June, the Fever continue to dominate WNBA viewership, per Sports Media Watch. The franchise has nine of the top 10 most-watched games of the year.

The headliner is the Fever’s loss to the Chicago Sky on June 23 at Wintrust Arena. That game averaged 2.30 million viewers as Angel Reese – the WNBA Rookie of the Month – and the Sky defeated Caitlin Clark and the Fever. It also passed the high-water mark set one week earlier when 2.25 million people tuned to CBS as Indiana got its second straight victory over Chicago.

Only one of the Top 10 most-watched WNBA games didn’t involve Indiana. It still followed a Fever game, though. The May 18 Las Vegas Aces vs. Los Angeles Sparks game averaged 1.34 million viewers after the Fever vs. New York Liberty matchup drew 1.71 million on ABC. The Aces vs. Sparks game ranks No. 8 on the WNBA’s most-watched games of the year.
