Chelsea have looked to act relatively quickly when it comes to making signings this summer in order to give support to their new manager.
Enzo Maresca is preparing for his first campaign as a Premier League manager, and will no doubt be needing reinforcements to bolster his chances of success.
He has already seen one of his top performers from Leicester City last season join him at Stamford Bridge, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall already arriving at the club.
They have not shied away from bringing in some of the top young talents in the game again either. A deal for Estevao Willian has already been confirmed, with him arriving next summer.
It looks as if defence is the latest position that has been tackled by the Blues, with journalist German Garcia Grova saying that a deal has now been confirmed to sign Aaron Anselmino.

There is plenty of excitement already about the young defender, with him being described in the early stages of his career as ‘special’.
He will join the likes of Estevao and Kendry Paez as those listed as the next stars of Stamford Bridge. The latter has been starring recently at the Copa America despite the fact that he is just 17 years of age.
There are now fears that the mantra of signing the top young players around the world could a number of quality players at Cobham slip through their fingers.
One of those is Rio Ngumoha, who is reportedly more likely to leave at this stage due to not seeing an obvious pathway to the first team at this stage.
The academy has also been rocked recently by the official announcement that Neil Bath had left the club after 30 years of service.
