Chelsea are reportedly keen to keep their business moving quickly as the preparation for the new season hots up.
The Blues are set to travel to the United States in the coming weeks in order to partake on another tour, with players already back in action at Cobham.
A number of player such as Wesley Fofana and Ben Chilwell returned early to the facility, in order to get themselves in the best possible shape following injury hit wingers.
There have also been sightings of new signings in training, with both Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tosin Adarabioyo looking to hit the ground running for their new side.
Chelsea want to sign Desire Doue
It has now been reported that Chelsea are hoping to add another new name to that list very soon. According to The Sun, they are looking to complete a deal swiftly to bring in Desire Doue.
The report goes on to say that the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham are also keen on bringing in the winger as part of their own transfer activity.
The 19-year-old had a strong season in Ligue 1 last time out, and has already left many really impressed with his outings.
Desire Doue ‘one of a kind’
One of those is teammate Baptiste Santamaria, who described him in an interview just a few months ago as ‘one of a kind’.
The signing would certainly fit in with the policy Chelsea have created for themselves in the past few years.
It has been at the forefront of their thinking to bring in some of the world’s most promising players in every position there is.
Two of the most exciting players they have signed so far will not actually be joining up with the first team for another 12 months.
