As part of a series on some potentially under-the-radar redshirt freshmen for Oregon Football, I’ll be taking a look at Daylen Austin today to see where he fits into the Ducks’ 2024 outlook and beyond. Austin came to Oregon via Long Beach Poly High School in Long Beach (CA) where he was a four-star prospect rated as the No. 10 cornerback in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Standing 6-1 and weighing in at 195 pounds as of his last official weigh-in, Austin has a typical frame for a cornerback. He’s likely closer to 200 pounds now with a full year in Oregon’s strength and conditioning program under hi...

Moore is the No. 1 ranked wide receiver in this 2025 recruiting class per the On3 Industry Rankings. The 5-foot-11, 186-pounder is the No. 3 ranked player in the country in those same rankings. Moore is truly elite by any metric. And beating out the likes of Texas for the Duncanville (Texas) product was not easy. However...

This year’s Civil War may not be what it once was, but fans of both teams will care about the outcome potentially more than ever. For Oregon State, beating the Ducks would serve as a gut-punch to Oregon for leaving the Beavers high and dry in what’s left of the Pac-12 Conference. For Oregon, winning the first non-conference game against Oregon State would validate the Ducks’ move to the Big Ten Conference and distance the program from its roots in what was one of the nation’s weakest power conferences. It’s difficult to tabulate exactly what Oregon State will look like this year as they break ...
